Rhonda E. (Ask) Redenius

WELCOME - Rhonda Ellen (Ask) Redenius, age 63, of rural Welcome, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at her home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Rhonda at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center - Sherburn (212 N Prairie Street, Sherburn, MN 56171) with Pastor Fred Dykhuizen officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Rhonda’s service will be recorded and available to be viewed at her obituary page at www.sinnfuneralhome.com.

The Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center of Trimont, Sherburn, and Welcome is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rhonda was born on February 25, 1962, to Alan and Juanita (Dahlin) Ask in Fairmont, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell. Rhonda graduated from Sherburn High School with the class of 1980. After high school she attended Pipestone Vocational and Technical School and graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She was blessed with three children, Josh, Steven and Nathan. Rhonda was united in marriage to Mark Redenius on January 4, 2013.

Rhonda worked briefly at Maurice’s in Fairmont before beginning her time at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Fairmont, where she was a records supervisor for 11 years. After she and Mark were married, Rhonda was able to focus her time and energy into interior decorating and creative wood projects which were sold at various craft shows throughout the area.

Rhonda will forever be remembered by her husband, Mark; children, Josh, Steven, and Nathan Nowak; parents, Alan and Juanita (Dahlin) Ask; Rodney (Katie) Ask; mother-in-law, Mary Kay Redenius; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her brother, Ted Ask; grandparents; and father-in-law, Edward Redenius.
