In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evonne’s name to Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington, MN. Her family would like to thank the hospice staff for the wonderful care that they gave Evonne in her final days.

Evonne was born on April 23, 1938, to Theodore and Merna (Beam) Rossow. She graduated from Lakefield High School.

On March 31, 1957, Evonne was united in marriage to William "Bill" Fay Sirovy II at Our Savior's Lutheran Parsonage in New Ulm, Minnesota. They made their home in Jackson, Minnesota, where they were blessed with four children.

Evonne loved her family most of all and treasured the time she was able to spend with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening in her early years and always loved flowers, though she wanted nothing to do with bugs outside. She liked puzzles and crossword puzzles, and enjoyed watching the critters in her yard, especially the bunnies and birds. A chocolate malt was always a favorite treat.

Evonne was witty, with a way of making you laugh when you least expected it, sometimes without even meaning to. She had her own off-the-wall way of naming things that was hers alone, right to the very end, calling her hospice room "spiffy."

Evonne will forever be remembered by her daughters, Callie Sirovy and Melissa Sirovy; brother, Colin Sirovy; daughter-in-law, Jeri Sirovy; grandchildren, Stacey (Jason) Haldemann, Angie Olson, Ryan (Heather) Sirovy, Jeremy (Stacia) Sirovy, Josh Anderson, Kyle (Nicole) Flohrs, and Jared (Hannah) Flohrs; many great-children; sister, Karmen (Charles) Johnstone; half-sister, Barbara Olsem; sister-in-law, Cheryl Rossow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Evonne was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Sirovy; son, William “Bill” Sirovy Jr., III; parents; brother, Larry Rossow; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Ruby (Fawcett) Sirovy; brothers-in-law, Farrell (Hazel) Sirovy and Allan Sirovy; and sister-in-law. LaVonne (Raymond) Nielsen.
