SHERBURN - Dawn L. (Broviak) Johnson, age 63, of Sherburn and formerly Fairmont and Granada, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont, Minnesota.

Dawn was born on April 2, 1963, to Louis and Ethel (Horton) Broviak in Fairmont, Minnesota. She attended school in Granada. Dawn was blessed with two children, April and Jesse.

Dawn was simple and kept to herself. She loved the Minnesota Vikings. She treasured time with family and friends, and looked forward every year to the get together at the Holiday Inn.

Dawn loved taking care of people. She worked at REM, at COR, and at a nursing home, and also volunteered with hospice. She was always there to help, no matter what you needed.

Dawn loved spending time with her grandkids and time outside. She was always up for eating. She didn't care where or what, but she was a lot more likely to leave the house with you if food was involved.

Dawn will be forever remembered by her children, April (Steven) Feely and Jesse Johnson; grandchildren, Dakota Feely, Ashten (Gwen Teumer) Feely, Bensen Feely, Rylee Krumwiede, Macee (Brandon Hartmann) Krumwiede, Wesley Topitzhofer, Abram Johnson, and Marshall Johnson; great-grandchildren, Marissa Hartmann, Norah Hartmann, and Beckham Hartmann; siblings, Linda Erno, Dennis (Mary) Broviak, and Kenny (Kathy) Broviak; close friends, Carine Eytcheson and Rhonda Nobles; her beloved cat, Nine, who was an expert hider and only came out for Dawn; and other relatives and friends.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Madeline Kennedy; sister-in-law, Sandy Broviak; brother-in-law, Duke Erno; and other relatives and friends.
