Brian Cermak

SHERBURN - Brian S. Cermak, age 51, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026.

A private burial will be held at Deer Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery in Carpenter, IA, at a later date.

Brian was born on May 16, 1975, to Robert Cermak and Joyce (Gordon) Kuntz, in Minneapolis, MN. He was confirmed and graduated high school in Northwood, IA. Brian was employed at Crystal Valley as a truck driver, and enjoyed his time spent on the road.

Brian is survived by his sisters, Christine and Tammy Cermak; beloved dogs, Scarlet Snow and Summer Shade and cat, Raindrop; aunts and uncles, Edith Miller, Ellen (Verne) Hansen, Duane Gordon, Dennis (Ruth) Gordon, Jeff (Marjean) Gordon, and Mary (Shane) Metz; many cousins; and other relatives and friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Nels and Rosamund Gordon; uncle, Mert Miller; and aunt, Diane (Jack) Van Horn.
